Jay Bellomo is a natural entertainer and though he is often referred to as the life of the party, he knows that you are the star. He makes sure that his clients are front and center while he provides the backdrop for an event that your guests will remember for years to come.

At an early age, Jay knew music would impact his life in some way, and in turn, use this passion to entertain others. He started deejaying around 15 and took his interest for it to college where he majored in audio production at the State University of New York at Fredonia. There he had his own radio show and deejayed at a local nightclub.

After graduating from SUNY Fredonia, Jay started to emcee and became the host of a local standup comedy open mic night that allowed aspiring comics to hone their skills. He continued to experiment with mixing music and also worked with local artists as a freelance producer.

Once he moved to Charlotte, Jay continued pursuing his passion for music and eventually found a home with a local mobile DJ company. After more than five years professionally emceeing, deejaying and hosting events that ranged from small birthday and anniversary parties to large weddings and corporate events, he knew it was time to go out on his own and founded Cued Up Events at the beginning of 2022.

Specializing in special events, private parties and corporate events, Jay loves providing music that evokes emotions from others and strives to make each event one that his clients will remember forever.
